  3. With help of the SNMP of monitor you can request or set
  4. parameters of the SNMP agents in the Ethernet boxes on
  5. your network.

  7. To use the monitor function Net-Control puts the connected
  8. Ethernet box into the bridge mode (see manual the Ethernet box).
  9. This mode must be allowed in the configuration of that box.
  10. Otherwise you will receive a fault message.

  12. Additionally the SNMP Monitors can get hardware addresses with
  13. the Address resolution Protocols (ARP), it can make ping (echo)
  14. tests as well as send RARP and BOOTP packets.
